Powering DHL operations with reliable telescopic conveyors
To support this new hub, DHL partnered with Caljan to install a fleet of 106 Performer Telescopic Conveyors, including four Droop Snoots to assist with ergonomic loading at floor level. These are designed to streamline parcel handling, maximise throughput, and contribute to the company’s ambitious carbon-neutral goals.
This high-throughput site currently processes around 60,000 parcels per hour. To meet this demand, DHL needed a materials handling solution that delivered more than just speed. It had to keep operations running smoothly at scale, while aligning with strict safety protocols and long-term sustainability goals.
