Caljan announces the appointment of Derek Wright as Chief Executive Officer.
Derek Wright succeeds Henrik Olesen, who is retiring after 25 years of exceptional leadership and dedication to the company.
Henrik has played a defining role in Caljan’s development over the past 25 years. Through his vision, resilience, and long-term leadership, he has helped shape Caljan into a global leader in its field, with a strong market position, a clear strategic direction, and a distinctive company culture. Beyond the business results, Henrik’s impact has been felt across the organisation. He has helped build a culture rooted in quality, trust, innovation, and people, and his legacy will continue to influence Caljan for many years to come.
Derek joined Caljan six years ago and has since held several senior leadership roles across the organisation, including CEO of Caljan UK, VP Sales & Marketing, and most recently COO. Through these roles, he has developed deep knowledge of Caljan’s customers, markets, and operations, and has played an important role in the company’s continued development.
