Handling loose-loaded cargo
Move loose-loaded goods efficiently
Using a telescopic conveyor to move loose-loaded goods typically cuts unloading times in half, when compared to manual handling.
Handling loose-loaded cargo can be a challenge, particularly if your operation is geared to palletized goods. The simplest way to proceed is to use the same door when emptying containers or loading trucks with loose-loaded cargo. Fitting a telescopic conveyor directly behind the leveler allows for forklift traffic between the conveyor and the door. If more space is needed, the conveyor can be fitted on rails or castors so that it can be moved aside when not in use.
To reach across the leveler and into the very rear of a 40 ft container, the telescopic conveyor must be able to extend up to 69 ft.
